I am sure she's not hurting him, I think Gangsta's mostly fluff. I have held a "fluffball hamster" - didn't know there was a breed name for them back then, and was surprised at how little her body was under all that fuzz!
From Gangsta's owner's description, I know she is his special friend and loves him very much. We wouldn't have featured him if we thought he was being hurt in his picture.

I have to agree, it certainly looks like the cute little creature is being squashed. It's not only the fur but the way his little arms and legs are out. I'm sorry but I have to say something also.
I agree. How he looks really is disturbing to me.
