Motor Goes Home

I took Motor over to my boyfriend's tonight. It was initially going to just be a visit to start getting him used to his new home, but we decided to let him stay for good.

He was really nervous at first - walking around crying and crying and crying nonstop. My bf was distracting him with toys a little, but as soon as he'd stop playing he'd go back to crying. Then he discovered his new brother, Zipper, who was under the bed napping. He sat next to Zipper and immediately stopped crying



Then he discovered the joys of playing with furry mice without 8 other cats and 2 dogs there to try to steal the toy away!







Then he and Josh played musical chairs. Josh has an office with 4 computers ( ) and 2 desks with computer chairs. Josh was switching from each computer. He would stand by Motor and type on the computer, but Motor would get up and jump to the other chair, hehe. You can tell in both pics he was making biscuits on the chair. Then he just decided to jump in Josh's lap and make biscuits on him!

He's such a handsome cat--so sleek and shiny! He looks like a little panther!

Motor sure is handsome and looks very happy too. I'm so glad that he's found a great loving forever home and that we'll be able to watch him grow up too.

Awww...that's so sad that Motor missed all his brothers and sisters, but I'm so happy he found his new buddy - Zipper. And in the next pics it sure seems that he's gotten over the loss of so many and is really enjoying being free from all that competition.

He sure is adorable, and I'm so happy your bf agreed to give him a forever home.

Thanks everyone

I visited Motor last night and he was even much more settled from the first night. He and Zipper were eating side by side Although Zipper is not completely warmed up to Motor yet, they are starting to play a little bit

When I walked in Josh's apartment, my dogs were with me and ran in. Motor got surprised and jumped up with a poofy tail. Then he saw it was us and started rubbing all over the dogs and my legs.
