    Drake's Haircut

    Well, spring is here and the weather is getting to be very warm. Draker is also shedding like crazy! So, it was time for his spring haircut! Drake gets shaved twice a year: spring and summer. It normally takes both Andrew and I to do it. I hold Drake down and keep him busy while Andrew shaves. On average, takes about 4 hours!

    Well, on Wednesday, I went out and bought new doggy clippers and shaved Drake. He was very cooperative and the new clippers were FANTASTIC! It took me only 1.5 hours to get the job done!
    As always, Drake dwas left with a mane and poof on his tail for the lion look! Grrrrrrr!

    Drake looks so handsome.
    The clippers sure worred great.

    1.5 hours is a LOT shorter than 4 and you
    did it all by yourself.

    Drake, you do look like a lion!

    Still as handsome as ever.

    That's nice that you can shave him so he doesn't have to be so warm. We were thinking about doing that to Prince last year (He would have looked so silly!) but it can damage his undercoat so we couldn't. The undercoat on Samoyeds are supposed insulate him from the heat also.

    Draker was very handsome before cliping too.. But with his new haircut he looks very adorable too!give him many many kisses from me
