Thank you for all your kind comments. I would just like to point out that the reason I am here at all is that
IT'S FISTERS' FAULT!
I'm not spoiled - I'm just IMPORTANT!
I enjoy posting on Pet Talk, but unfortunately rarely have the time nowadays. (I write best when I don't have any work on, but that is not good for the family finances). Perhaps when I retire! I'm sure a new chapter of Fisters' Journey will pop up sooner or later, but I can't guarantee anything just at the moment. There are always lots of other commitments that get in the way. (Randi, why is the dinner late - ah, of course you're on Pet Talk, that explains it, now I understand!).
There were a couple of charming comments in your posts that I particularly noticed. I'm used to being termed "The old git in the corner" at my local pub, but these are new ones. I'll have to get used to it I suppose. I'm sure I will!

Now I can proudly claim to be a "plodding turtle". I've been called worse (also on Pet Talk - remember dear Mary?), and I'm sure I can learn to live with it!
