    I signed. According to what I've heard, relatives are involved, so therefore, "the boys" are likely to get off. Any volunteers for a lynching?

    PIERCE COUNTY - A hostile courtroom watched Friday afternoon as a Tacoma judge set bail at $4300 for two men accused of animal cruelty.

    There were 50 people in the courtroom and 50 more in the hall and outside. Members of animal welfare groups had gathered outside the Courthouse earlier, carrying signs demanding a maximum five-year penalty for the men.

    Troy L. Loney, 18, Steven L. Paulson, 20, both of Wilkeson are accused of killing a stray dog with a bow and arrow. They reportedly tied the dog to a tree and shot it at least 10 times with an arrow. When the dog was dead they threw it's body into the river.

    Loney says they killed the Siberian husky humanely early last month because it appeared to be sick.

    Both men plead not guilty to first degree animal cruelty.

    Thanks for the update, and hope the judge isn't a pushover! Hope justice prevails for the poor dog, and they get the maximum and then some. Grrrr!

    they lied on the stand? Said the dog had been put to sleep? Where's the witness? These guys deserve 5 years easily in a correctional center. But I know saying so doesn't make it so.. keep us posted please. I hate losing track of cases...

    Sign me up!!! Why is it mostly MALES abuse animals?? What is it??? Does it make them feel more MANLY??? I just don't get it!!

    argh.

    But good start. I wonder if the car pool at bottom of website would come out to MA to get us? I really wish we could help...!!!!!!! Anything to prosecute those evil criminals. I'll bet this isn't the 1st animal cruelty act either one of them has participated in!
