I know my mom feels old.I'm the youngest and the only girl of three kids, not including my stepfathers two older sons, and, I have been telling her since my 25th birthday..."Hey, Ma! I'm five years from 30!".
It's a joke, now, but, at first, she freaked! I'm only 2 1/2 years from 30, now, but, I look really young, so, I think it's easy for her (and me) to forget!

My parents are in the same boat as you.
I'll be 16 in exactly two weeks from this Thursday...and that means I will be a licensed driver in two weeks!
If it helps at all, I also have a 21 year old sister and an 19 year old brother. Just be glad she's only 16!
