Sunshine Finds A New Home!!!

Hi everyone. My friend and co-worker told me that she wanted to adopt another cat so I told her that I'd help her find the purrfect one. She already has a 1 year old black male cat named Nacho and a 3-4 year old white male Pomeranian dog. The cat has been wearing out the dog lately so he needs a new playmate.

She also told me that she wanted a cat similar to my Sunny. I went to petfinder.com and looked at all of the young male orange cats. I kept going back to one named Sunshine. I e-mailed his foster mom and we were able to go meet him today. Since his foster mom has fostered him since he was 1 day old, she's become very attached to him and needed to be sure that he was going to a good home. He's now 6 months old. His birthday is on Aug. 25th which is also the same as my Sunny's birthday. He's also very little for his age and only weighs about 3-4lbs.

He was a bit scared at first but after about 30 minutes he became much more relaxed around us. His foster mom has 5 cats and 2 dogs and is also constantly fostering kittens and cats so she knew that Sunshine needed a new home were he would receive the attention that he deserves. She was also fostering 6 kittens that are only 2 1/2 weeks old and I got to bottle feed them. I wasn't able to take their pictures though. I did take quite a few pictures of Sunshine and some of his foster's mom's cats too.

Yes, she took him home today and since her birthday's coming up I paid the adoption fee for her. His foster mom and her friend started crying when they handed him over to us and I also got very teary eyed. I felt like we were taking a baby away from his parents. I reassured her that I'd keep her updated and send her pictures of him too. I can't wait to hear how he's fitting in his new home.

Your pictures of him are beautiful. He does look a little apprehensive, but so sweet. No wonder his foster mummy was sad to give him up.

I am in love! He is adorable and sooooooo sweet looking! (I saw all that pink in some of the pic's) How can you part with them when you had them from 1 day till now? That would break my heart!
