Who wants to help Sweet Annie get to England?

I know 2 people in England who want to adopt Sweet Annie. (OK, I know 1 person in England who wants to adopt Sweet Annie and 1 person who is not totally convinced)

The coincidence is that YOU all know these people too!

Now, we (the British party and myself) are planning on how to cover her adoption fee, blood tests and microchipping, plus a shipping crate, maybe you all would like to help with actual shipping costs?

And just so you know, I AM jumping the gun a bit, but I figured that an out pouring of enthusiasm would help person #2 get the idea! HEE HEE

    I am SO bad

I guess I should add that I am not really soliciting (even though it seems that way). I just want to drum up some support to help all parties involved decide if they'd like to adopt Sweet Annie.

So please feel free to post, we don't really think you should have to PAY.

    Two thoughts.

    1) My initial thought was why adopt a cat from America? The money would be much better spent on the homeless cats via the CPL or other charity, rather than given to an impersonal airline.

    2) But then again... it's helping a friend-of-a-friend. And it's not like we've had much luck with the strays/needy cats we've picked up over here.

    Oh and she's soooo cute....

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

From the thread title, that's what I thought you were looking for - someone to fily over with the cat!

Isn't there a very long quarantine time for cats coming to Great Britian from America?

PIF says uf she gets a blood test here in America and then a 2nd one 6 months later she can skip quarrentine. So july (very unfortunately) would be a bit too soon
