Oh gosh! im so sad rite now! no, cami isnt in any harm, she hasnt went to RB either... I didnt want to freak u all out.. Well, the time has finally come..Im leaving on Vacation the day after tommorow.! I want her to come! my mom, will be crying i know. and i will be trying to hold it in. yeah, its only a week and a half but.... Thats long, considering she is with me now 24 hours of everyday! And i dont know what im gonna do with out her to cuddle with for 10 days! I wish that there was a law that you HAD to have your pets everywhere with you no matter what.. Then she could come.. My sister works near by so shes gonna stay at our house with razz too. So i guess its okay for cami to at least have a friend to play with. I just dont want anything to happen to her while we are gone.. hit by a car, licks a frog ect.... I know im very paranoid. I hate to see what i would be like if i had a kid .. But shes my baby my first dog that i could really remember.. I will tell my sister to come on here daily to give you guys the updates.. hehe you guys will be my spies!

Wont she think that we abandoned her? lol she will be so sad without her mama to sleep with her everynight! and her sissy to play with everyday... She will sleep and play with razz i just wish i was there to snap some pics! lol.. i will get some when we get back.. ill tell my sister to leave razz there with camz so i can snap some.. hehe. i will take plenty of pictures when we are there.. if anyone want to see.. lol.. But im gonna miss her.. lol. i asked my mom i go how about one of the pet talkers doggy sit? she is like umm thats out of my way hun.. too bad no one lived rite around my block like tikeyas_mom and Wolfsoul... lol... Well sorry to be so long..

Were going to Hawaii at the end of July for 2 weeks, and we cant bring Daisy and Molly.... . I want to, but my parents say NO. I cry evertime we have to leave them... We have a close family friend that absoultey adores them! (she has 2 shelties of her own..hehe..) I miss them too, but I knw they are in good hands! Have you ever left her with someone before? I dont think she will think you've abandoned her, she might just be confused, but then go back to normal. Dont worry! Im sure Cami will miss you, but a week goes by so quickly! and just think of how excited she will be when you get home! I hope you have fun on your trip!

Yeah, I know how you feel too. When we went to Oklahoma for around 5 days, we had to bored Alex at Home Sweet Home pet resort. It's nothing like a kennel, which made me feel so much better....he was in the doggie daycare program too. He got to run with dogs and people, so I think he wasn't as sad, although he was VERY sad to see us go; he thought we abanded him. I don't think Cami will think you abanded her; Alex only thought that because of his past. Just try to have a good time on vacation, Cami will have lots of fun with Razz. Try not to worry too much {{{{HUGS}}}}

thats because i never go on holiday with my parents, and when I go to the caravan I take him.....

but, I do get bored when he goes with my parents

that really sucks!! why cant you bring her wth you ?? I bring Tikeya and Oscar on vacation everyyear . This year they are going to the PNE with me and my family. . I cant wait.. Last year we went all the way to Banth and Jasper in Alberta, they loved that . Tikeya is not a traveling type dog. but she lived. My mom used to take her cat Midnight on vaccation when she was younger, so she thinks it is only fair that I can take my dog. She took her cat all over the world. . and he never ran away .. But you know what? I leave Fuzzy, all the rodents, and fish and bird home when we go on vacation. We just make sure they have losta food and water before we go.

TM we cant take her because we are going to all these places and we will be all around.. And my mom doesnt want her in the cage when we arent at their house.... Like if we decide to go out somewhere she doesnt want to worry about having to come back to take her out (shes not housetrained) So i dont know!

We left Nova for a week recently for the first time. She slept with my brother every night but 1. My brother said she seemed sad and my mom said she seemed lonly the days she took care of her. I felt so awfull leaving her I called home every night and left her a messege every night.


When I came home Nova pushed me over and licked my face and licked my arms. She was so exited I was home I thought she might pee herself, LOL.

Don't worry about Cami, she'll be fine. She'll probly jump all over you and kiss yo uwhne you come home.

Since she is staying in your home she most likly will not think she is being abandoned cause all the stuff will be there and everything.

I know how you feel. I wonder if it's harder on us as owners than it is on the dogs. Since Cami gets to stay at home and have company I think she'll definitely be fine. You have my vote to pass a law that animals should go everywhere with their owner.

I hate leaving my kitty girl, even for the day to go to work I don't know how I'm going to leave her when we go on vacation, but at least it would be a good chance for her to socialise with other pets (namely my partner's sisters boy kitty, Muggins!)

I sort-of know how ya feel. We are goin on vacation the end of July for a week n' I have to leave Colby at a kennel. Asia n' Alex get to stay home with Dad. But see my Dad works all day n' that would mean Colby would stay in his crate all day from like 9:00am to 7:00pm. Were Asia n' Alex are ok outside all day. I really feel bad about leaving him...but he well be ok. Least you want be sad about leaving vacation....b/c you can't wait to go home n' see your pup~!!!

Cami well be fine...she'll prolly enjoy it~! Havein a playmate...just miss you a lil' while but she should get over it as soon as she relazes how fun it is to play w/ Razz.

I've havn't gone on a vacation for 3 years now. Because I just don't trust anyone else with my pets. I think my family is getting annoyed with that though because they are soppose to have family trips even though I stayed home to care for all my pets. I just feel wrong leaving them.

I know how you feel! I have to take Ceebers to his doggy hotel today and I am dreading it!!!

However, the last time I took him there (for 10 days), when I came to pick him up he was so excited, it was like no time had passed at all!!
