    Icelandic horses ***pics***

    here are some Icelandic horse photos, taken today. We were visiting our town's stable... look how long coats those horses has

    They are so cute and fuzzy! I'll bet it gets cold there. Our horses here don't have too much cold weather so they don't get nearly that fuzzy. I've got a pretty cup and saucer that I got from Iceland that has one of those horses on it.

    Sorry, I don't know how old they are.. We just were driving and we met those horses with their owners... I just know that white one is called Haukur...

    Beautiful ^_^ Aren't icelandic horses the ones with the really smooth gait? I've always wanted to ride one, I've seem all these shows on them. But I'm sure I'm probably too tall T-T

    Aren't they gorgeous? My Goddaugher has fallen in love with this particular breed, and there is a stable in Wisconsin which has some which she has riden.

    It is especially fun to see them in their native land. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
