    Last picture

This is probably a little morbid, but I feel like posting it anyway. This is last picture I ever took of Hoodoo. Taken February 21, 2004. If I'd known it was the last, I'd have snapped a thousand more that day.

I had this blown up to an 8x10 today and am having a little memorial tag made for the frame.

    doG, I miss him.

Not at all morbid, Hoodoo was a beautiful dog. I think the memorial you are doing is so great. I love the idea.

I am so happy you shared Hoodoo's picture. Again I am so sorry for your loss.

No way do we think posting a beautiful pic is morbid.

So glad you did, now I got to see HooDoo again - and so did everyone else on PT!

What a handsome dog! I think it's a very nice idea.

What a beautiful boy! Why would you think we thought it was morbid? We can have tons of pics of our special furry guys but never too many. Glad you were able to get such a good last photo.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Not morbid at all. He meant so much to you and you just want to share him. Sometimes I think it helps to look at them and remember all the good times you had together.

He was most definately a beautiful boy.
