    Jasmine's 6 weeks old!

Can you believe it - it has been six weeks since my beautiful granddaughter came into this world. I have been home a little over two weeks and I miss her so very much.
Anyway her is a picture from when she was born:

    One at one month:

    And a picture more recently:

And of course we have to have some dog pictures because this is Pet talk:

Christy says that every morning after Jasmine lays down for her nap the dogs go in and check on her and then take their naps:

Oh, I can't help it - just a few more of Jasmine:

    And one with her mommy:

This one should have been in the first post - it was just right after a left so about one month:

Brian should be home from Iraq in about a month now. We are all looking forward to his being home and getting to spend time with his new baby and of course, Christy and their other 3 girls.

Good lord, she's a beautiful baby! I'm sure Brian can't wait to get home and see her. Will he get to stay home then o rwill he have to go back to Iraq? I'm sure he feels like he's missing out on so much.

Thank you for thinking she is a beautiful baby - we think so too but we (I) am slightly prejudiced. Brian's year in Iraq is up in April so when he comes home it should be for good. However, his unit is suppose to rotate back in a year (hopefully, not sooner) but he gets out in March so with any luck he will not be going the next time. Brian spent the first year of their marriage in Korea (considered hostile so Christy could not go) and was home for 9 months and then went to Iraq last April. He was home for mid tour in late Dec./early Jan which just happened to be when Jasmine decided to make her appearance. And yes he does feel like he is missing out but Christy keeps him updated with emails an pictures through e-mails. Thank God for digital cameras and the internet!

What a beautiful baby! And rightly so that you should be convinced that she is the most beautiful baby on earth!

It's cute that the furkids go a check on her. Do they get Christy when Jasmine cries?
