    Vancouver Pet Talk Meeting

Since we were aiming for a mid/late marchish meeting, I think it's best if we start finalizing ideas. It looks like it'll be held at a (fenced) off leash park in Port Moody which isn't too far from Vancouver. Outside of the fenced area, there are benches, tables and lots of trails to walk on. I'll start looking for directions online.

It looks like it'll be held maybe on the 20th or 27th. But, if you can't make it those days, post what you'd be able to do and we'll see which day is best for all of us.

I would really like to come, and I'm going to be going to the Metallica concert on March 26th. Since I'll be in Vancouver anyway, it would be a lot less money to have to take the ferry only once. So the 27th is my vote

27th works best for me too
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I will hopefully be able to come up for this. The 27th sounds great.

That is as long as work doesn't change my plans.

Well, I'm pretty sure it will be that day but Ashley can confirm it. Naomi, let's hope for some sunny West Coast weather. It will be at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.

I will need directions, or maybe me and Nathan will follow you out and we can convoy

Yep, sounds like it'll be on the 27th.

I couldn't find any directions online and I'm not good with street names so maybe you could take care of that Slick?

Now for food.. shall we all bring something of our own to share?

Ashley: I'll be driving you and the pups right??? So I think it might be better if everyone meets in front of your place. Let me know if that's OK and I'll do up a map. As for food we'll have to figure something out because we won't have a BBQ.

Hmm..will there be room for Jynnelle, Jordan and a couple pups as well? I could try asking my mom if she'll drive as well.

I might be a tight squeeze but I'm sure we can do it. One human in the front, 2 humans and 2 dogs in the back seat and the rest of the pups in the very back. At least it's not a long drive to the park.

If we are meeting at Ashley's I'm sure Nathan and I can take one person and their dog/s. He has a small car but it's got a hatchback so we could fit a pup in the very back with one human in the back seat. I will see if that's ok with him, and let you know.
