What Breed Is Dudley!?

I am very curious when it comes to what breed Dudley could be. The humane society said he was a brown tabby, I am sorry, but he looks way to odd to be a tabby, he is oddly marked compared to a tabby cat. I would love to know what breed he is just for the heck of it. I have posted 8 pictures to help you figure out what breed he may be. I am sorry they are so large, I kept them on the large-size so you could see details better.

As far as Dudley’s disposition, he is very quite and only loves one person- my mom. He refuses to have anything to do with me, my dad, or strangers. He is deathly afraid of visitors, except for one friend of mine, he doesn’t mind. He does not play at all, he is hardly active, mainly all he does is lay around and look sexy. He is not talkative at all, I haven’t heard a meow from him for about two months, ok, so that is a little exaggerated. If you got to know him well, you could say he is quite snooty. He sits very proper, front feet even with each other with his wrapped tail (you can see this in the last picture) around them. He is very picky and barely eats, he weighs 9 pounds. He is rather large, he is about 11-12" at the shoulders.

So, what breed do you think he might be!?

I have looked at pictures of Ocicats, some look like him and some don’t. I have looked at Bengals some look like him and some don’t. I have looked at Egyptian Maus some look like him and some don’t. I have looked at Tabby’s and none look like him. What could this adorable kitty be!?!?

I think he's a brown tabby, but there are several different tabby patterns. He looks like a mackerel tabby to me.

Hmm, interesting! I have no clue what tabby patterns the kitties were that I saw in the pictures, but they did not look like Dudley at all...that's why I said I didn't think he was a tabby.

If you go to google and type in tabby patterns you'll see the different kinds. I think their are 4, classic, mackerel, spotted, and ticked. However you have to remember that tabby is not a breed, it's just a color marking.

Hes a tabby im pretty sure about that hes got the markings and all that stuff. All my cats are tabbys and one of my tabbys look like Dudley. He is just a darker colored one.

Whatever breed he is, the name of the breed should contain sweet in it

Actually I have no idea what breed is your wonderful kitty, I can say just that, that he is very beautiful and cute

He looks like a spotted tabby; he's almost a ringer for Smokey the Younger, but she's black on silver-gray. (Out of a black cat, who never had had anything but black or black and white kittens before I got her spayed. )

I don't know about breeds, but he's sooooo pretty!! Look at those sweet little ears, and those perfectly placed eyes, and that pink nosie!! Not to mention his gorgeous spots. And what a good boy to walk on a leash!

I am absolutely useless on pinpointing cat breeds, unless obvious, such as a Siamese, so I can't help. What I do know is that whatever breed he is Dudley is seriously gorgeous!

Just from the spots on his sides, he looks like he may have a little bengal in him. What a sweet looking kitty he is!!

I think that he is a Spotted Tabby , or as the Vets refer to my Cats , of that coloring a Tabby Domestic Short Hair!But a Handsome One!
