Aly visits Dakota's Mommy

While I was in Texas, Aly came to see Christy, Jasmine, me and the dogs. It was great to meet and visit with Aly. She lives an hour+ from Christy and has volunteered to help out sometime if Christy should need it. I am afraid I had a brain fart or something and did not request that she bring Lolly and Reece with her. I don't know maybe I thought 5 dogs, a new baby and a very muddy back yard was too much. Who knows???? Anyway here are some pictures of the visit:

BTW, this is the first time I have *seen* Aly! I don't ever remember her posting a picture of herself. You are so beautiful inside and out, Aly!

That was a house full of sweeties, for sure!

I had a very good time. Jasmine is such a sweet baby and all three dogs are big time cuddlers.

Please excuse my hair, clothes, etc in the pictures! That was a 16 hour day for me since I had been at school since 8am and didn't make it to their house until 4pm. I finally got home at almost midnight.

The drive was so easy though. I just made some detours along the way ... and on the way there almost got arrested twice!! Hehe, I took two wrong turns and ended up at military check points. They make the hugest deal if you want to turn around and treat you like a criminal!

Aly's right. While Christy was in Dallas getting Brian sent off to Iraq, I got turned around and ended up at a check point (because once you start in that direction there is no way to turn around) and they acted like I was there to blow up the place. Me, a Grandma like me????? They pull you over - take information about your vehicle, check your ID and then finally let you turn around. Unfortunately they have to stop oncoming traffic to do it.

Ohhhhhhhh we now know what Aly looks like! I've been wondering that for quite some time now. I believe this is the first time I saw pics of Aly!

So nice to *see* you! Christy's baby is absolutely ADORABLE!! I love baby girls.........soooooooooooooo cute! Look at those little tiny feet. Awww! He he! Of course the doggies are just as adorable too!

I have to admit, Aly...I'm a little jealous you got to meet all my neice and the doggies before I did!! I'm glad you were able to make it over.

When Christy does it makeithome, it will be a treat to see Sierra with my grils and all the spotty dogs together!
