    A little update on Chester

Chester went in yesterday for “zipper removal”. He’s been very hyper and playful since getting back home! He’s been running and jumping and wrestling with Miss Millie and even “played” briefly with Aneko. Not really, but they sort bounced around each other a bit.

He’s pretty much back to normal except that when they had the catheter in him, they taped it too his tummy so that it wouldn't pull out and he reacted badly to the adhesive. His skin on his tummy got VERY irritated and eventually peeled off in huge flakes. His tummy’s dark gray, so it was snowing these big, dirty looking flakes! Now his skin is pink and sooo soft, but it looks a little funny cause his gray used to blend into the pink and now it’s got these rough, sharp borders! It’s cute, though.

Anyway, here’s a few pics. He's wearing his Bite Not collar in these.

    Sleeping.

See the redness on his tummy?

The Bite Not collar make his neck itchy!

    LOL!

So glad Chester is feeling better. I know he is very happy to be out of his house and back into the thick of things.

That's wonderful news! That bite not collar looks less awkward than Elizabethan. Would be really hard for him to be in a crate with the other I suppose.

I'm so happy to hear he's doing so well. Give him a kiss for me!

Yeah, and he can still use the pet door with the Bite Not collar!

Thanks to everyone for your prayers & support. And Chester's sure enjoyed all the kisses and hugs Mommy gave him from Pet Talkers!

Yeah Chester! Glad you're feeling much better and that your tummy is getting well. Pretty soon you'll be driving your mommy crazy with all your hyperness

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
