Dawn, Dusk and Twilight (oh my!) **pics**

Ok I finally got some new pictures of the birdie babies today *nudge Poppy!* For some reason I ended up taking the most of Dusk, I didn't really plan it that way, but he's the biggest explorer of the three . So, hold onto your hats, 25 pictures incoming! (Please ignore some of the clutter laying around )

    Dawn

Dawn again (I like how the lighting turned out in this one)

    Dawn and Twilight

    Dusk and Twilight

    All three

    Dusk "What's up there?"

Twilight and Dawn with Dusk exploring in the background.

Dusk, his tail looks a bit weird here, he just grew those two really long light grey feathers.

    What's under here? Hmmm.

    Time to preen.

    Oh, my ride is here!

    Aren't I pretty?

Hey! I didn't want to be put down!

    Tommy checks out Dawn.

I told him to be nice, so he laid his head on the sofa and watched her like that

    Tommy says, "How fascinating!"

Dawn says, "Don't get too close Bub!"

And that's it! Hope you enjoyed

My gosh! They are SO SO SO SO SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I LOVE YOUR BIRDIES!!!! Thanks soooooooooo much for sharing all those pics of your precious feathered kids. I love them all! Twilight looks so much like Muffin its amazing. Pearly girls.............aren't they just so precious? And Dawn is definitely one of the most attractive tiels I have EVER seen! I *love* her markings and colorings! Dusk is just as handsome as well. I've never met a white-face in person. He's SO cute! MORE MORE MORE!!!!

Ps. Is Tommy nice to them? What do the birdies think of the doggies? BTW........birdies aren't in your signature again. *Hint Hint*

Thanks Wolfchan, Esster and Poppy The birdies and I are blushing!

Generally when I have them all out I keep the pups in a different part of the house. I really don't think either Tasha or Tommy would ever intentionally hurt them, but accidents can happen, especially with 3 birds and 2 dogs all flapping/running around at once. Plus I want the birds to just relax and not be nervous about a huge snuffling nose checking them out while they are exploring .

Dawn is the most used to the dogs and the most tame/humanized so sometimes when I have just her out I will let Tommy or Tasha check her out. Tasha generally cares nothing about the birds unless they flap around and then she gets excited and runs to see. Tommy is totally such a gentle soul and he backs right off if Dawn pecks at his nose for getting too close. Of course it is always under close supervision

"Come on Mom...I WANT the bird!"

EEEEEE!! This picture is ADORABLE. I'm using it as my desktop now, I hope you don't mind. Tommy's such a good boy with the birdies! I wouldn't trust Daisy with Piper for a second...she's a Retriever afterall.

    Cute pictures!

Julie, I don't mind at all Tommy is flattered! He is such a good boy hehe. I still would never leave him unsupervised around them, but he seems to understand they aren't to be "retrieved"

Poppy, wow that's a nice action shot of Muffin! And she DOES look like Twi, her tail even is identical. No wonder that picture of Twi on the curtains and her tail spread stood out to you!

That's Muffin going in for landing. She doesn't fly at all, so that is a rare shot. When I saw that pic of Twilight, her tail immediately reminded me of that pic I have of Muffin. I think they look almost identical! You sure they aren't sisters?

What pretty birdies! Your pictures turned out great! It looks like they had a lot of fun exploring!

Does Tommy and Tasha get along with the birds? The pictures of Tommy and the birdie look adorable either way!

Dusk looks like my friend's female cockatiel named Phoenix. her other is just grey with a yellow and red face. (cant remember the name of the breed) but his name is Joe.
