2 parents and 2 siblings.

Actually, my brother and sister are 'half-siblings' (we have the same dad, different moms), but I consider them my siblings just like I would if we had the same moms. They're both older, my sister, Kristi, is 24 (she has an adorable 6-year-old daughter, Melissa ) and my brother, Aaron, is 27.

My skin family has six members--- my parents, my two older brothers, my older sister and myself. My Dad always wanted four children (two girls and two boys) but my Mom wanted two children (a girl and a boy). My brother Scot was born first (while my Dad was overseas with the military ) and about a year later my parents decided to adopt their second child, a baby girl. They named her Laura. Well, less than a year after the adoption and despite an IUD my brother Chad was born! My poor mother had three kids in diapers all at once...those were definitely the most stressful years of her life! Recently she has become much more candid about the whole experience and I feel sorry for her!

THEN after another 13 years and my Dad's vasectomy I came into this world! Kind of a shocker....

My parents always say that they believed in birth control but that it just didn't believe in them!
