    Surprise new litter!!

Today I went up to feed the kittens and Ele` their mom and what a surprise. Smokey Jo had her kittens. There is a tortie, A black and a smoke torite. Mom and kittens are fine. So fed the other kittens and then the boys Jaxon, Rio, and Charlie. Went down stairs to fix another cup of coffee sat down for a few and then went back up stairs to check Smokey Jo, since she is a first time mom. And what a surprise another kitten was born. Another Smoke tortie I believe. Wonderful 4 is a good number for a new mom. Smokey is purring and very content. Check out kittens and all seems well. I had people coming to look at one of the kittens and was with them for a couple of hours. When they left went back and checked Smokey Jo and you guessed it another kitten. A black or black smoke kitten. Smokey and I had a long talk and she and I agreed that 5 kittens are plenty. So far she has agreed with me. Will take pictures in a few days. So we have 3 females and 2 males.

Wow, you are going to have your hands full for a while.

I am happy that the little talk that you had with Smokey Jo seemed to work. It at lest sounds like the birth went well, I was glad to hear that.

I won't bother you about pictures since you already said that you will get some for us.*waits patiently*

I am very proud of Smokey Jo being a first time mom. She is out of my first kitten I bred here. Whisper, one day I will tell her story. So Smokey Jo is a very special girl in my life. She is doing well and the kittens are great! There are 2 smoke torties and 1 tortie ( but could still be a smoke) and a black and white and a black (who also could be smokes). If you are intersted e-mail me Moosmom I would be glad to talk to you. I am so thrilled with this litter.

Smokey Jo and her babies are BEAUTIFUL. Glad everything went well with the birth.
    Congratulations, Stella.
And thank you for the nice compliment you made about my Lovable in the other thread. He is gray and white and both pictures are of him. Here is a link to his album on ImageStation.
All pictures are of him except the last.

Well, it has been a very busy couple of days. Giong back to work (yuck) after being off for 10 days. That is not enough time to do much, except clean and clean and clean. Of course, kitten time. Smokey Jo is doing great and the kittens are gaining weight. Still don't know if the 2 are black or black smoke. Time will tell. The 2 are diffently smoke torties with white the other tortie with no white is also hard to tell if she is smoke or not. Here is a picture of them.
