    Story of Hope (GSD)

I have a friend who I met because of this story. Her name is Joni, and I read this story on a web-site, and wrote in saying how beautiful it was, and how proud she must be looking at the difference in Hope now. She wrote back ........

That was 4 years ago, and we are still friends to this day (even tho we have never met).

I was re-reading it today, and thought I should share it.

    Thanks Deli!

She has rescued another GSD since then too ......... called Liberty.
AND she already had Remington (ANOTHER rescue.)

Sadly, Hope passed away last year ....... but I still love the happy story.

What a beautiful, touching story. Hope was a gorgeous girl. I'm glad she found happiness in her short life. Thanks for sharing her story.

Did Hope die of an illness?

    Sue,

Yes she did - I think it was kidney failure.

I have still got the e-mail from the day she passed away at home, so will check.

She certainly was a very special girl, and very, very loved.

So sorry to hear of her passing. Her story really got to me. Isn't it amazing that with all the abuse these poor rescues have endured, they still love with all their hearts??
