    (foster) Timmy update!

For those who knew my foster Timmy and how he got his forever home right before Christmas after being with me for 5 months. Then he got real sick and we were worried about him. THEN his new mom's OTHER cats turned for the worst (Milton). Here is what I received today:

Milton is actually doing a bit better--eating more and not sleeping as much. He seems peppier. In fact, the other night Timmy was sleeping on the sofa and Milton jumped up and started washing Timmy's head (the way he used to do with Baxter-RB-), but after about 5 seconds Timmy had had enough. I guess he wants to be in charge of his own hygiene.

Timmy is great, though. He has really made himself at home. Now he sits on the table when I eat breakfast and tries to paw hunks of cereal out of my bowl so he can play with them.

What a heart-warming update for both Timmy and for Milton.

    Great news!!!!!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Oh Jen, that's wonderful news!!! What a happy way to end off the week. You must be so relieved.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
