    Snow shoot *20 pics*

Overnight, we got LOT of snow.. and it's still coming down right now. I took the pups out to play and get some shots of them. I may as well get it out of my system to post these, and then I swear I'll ease off on the pics for awhile! The camera has trouble focusing with snow flakes are coming down so some are a bit blurrier than I would like.

This is just a picture of the front yard, to get an idea of how much snow so far!

These first few are from this morning that I just took from the doorway.

Tasha doesn't stay in it too long. She runs out, chases away any squirrels around the bird feeders, goes potty, and runs back in. That's why it's always so easy to get running shots of her

Tommy however loves to spend some time out in the snow!

    More coming.

Ok, so around noon I braved the snow (even though I don't have a pair of boots at the moment!), to get some better shots of them. They had a blast racing around playing snow tag!

This first one the bird feeders are in the way, but you can see Tommy is really flying!

Tasha easily outruns poor Tommy boy

Except when she stumbles a bit!

    I love this one

    "You can't catch me!"

    Oh well, he's happy anyway

    More inc.

I don't know how, but he knew exactly where one of his logs was buried. He decided to try to dig it out.

The only problem was it was frozen to the ground, so he couldn't get it out!

Shaking the snow off his face

Tasha came over to see what all the fuss was about

    Tommy the snowy retriever

    Tasha baby

And she's ready to go inside and warm up!

    THE END!

    Hope you enjoyed!

    WOW
    Those were awsome action shots!!

I wish we would get tons of snow already!!

I live in the snow belt of Ohio, and we normaly get TONS and TONS of snow. Every winter were on CNN and other national news stations because we get so much, but this year had been very very light

Oh well... we still have Feb and March to get through yet!
We normaly get a big storm in Feb. So... paws crossed we get a HUGE snow storm!!

It has not gotten above freezing in two weeks now!

So the foot of snow on the ground has stuck around... but I'd LOVE another two feet on top of it all!
(plus... I work in a body shop.. and a big snow storm is always good for business!! )

    Anyway...
Wonderful pictures!!!! I enjoyed them very much!

Hold on my husband is moving pictures around on the site so some won't show up until I fix the links.

    EDIT: Ok, all fixed again!

Thanks Angie! We had been pretty light on the snow for quite awhile too up until now. It's still coming down too and a chance for more tonight!

Like Katie's Mom said in her thread, I was really ready for warmer weather, but the new snowfall makes winter fun again

    Thanks Brooke and Anna!

It's STILL snowing steady outside, at 2:30 pm central.. I'm beginning to wonder if we'll be buried!

Adorable pictures!! I love seeing how dogs react in the snow. It's like one big toy for them.

Don't you dare! I loved these pictures and the action shots are terrific! Gosh you have quite a bit down on the ground already judging from where it comes to on their legs! If my Ripley was out there he would really be having trouble navigating! Last winter I had to shovel him a little path so he was able to lift his leg! LOL!

    More please!

Thank you Liana and Pam! It's still coming down here and the snow is up to Tommy's elbows now and Tasha's shoulders!

The flakes are getting smaller now it looks like. Poor Ripley would definitely need a path made for him

Sandra, Cody and Star checking for their T&T fix! What great shots of the terrific twosome! Now those are two happy, happy doggies! I love the shots of them romping together and Tommy's precious snow covered face and sweet Tasha looks so foxy!! We're expecting up to a foot of snow, starting tomorrow night! I was getting a bit tired of winter too but all that snow ought to be us inspired again! My girls love the snow too. Being a Husky, my Cody loves nothing more than a foot of two of the white stuff!

Love your pictures! Looks like your dogs were having a blast. We had a lot of snow up here in NW Minnesota also, Holly was up to her chin in snowdrifts this morning. Didn't slow her down a bit.

Sandra, when you take Cody and Star to romp in the snow, it'd be a great chance to get some new pictures of them wouldn't it? I just bet they have a blast too!

Holly's Mom, wow that's a lot of snow too. I wonder if you got more than we did! Northern MN usually does You'll have to get some shots of Holly in the snow too!
