    snowshoeing fun (pics)

We finally found a place where Max could run offleash in the snow! Boy, did he have fun!

As soon as I opened the car door, he was off like a speeding bullet:

Of course he had to roll in the snow

He did take time to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

Then he happily collapsed, exhausted, in the car for the ride home!

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

Awww! Those are great pics Stacey. Looks like Max had a blast.

Are you getting a bunch of snow right now? They're predicting about 1 to 3 inches here, but I heard the UP could get over a foot of snow!

It is really coming down hard today. By the time we got back to the car I had to clear off the windows again. I don't know how much we're going to get, but I don't mind! Now that we found this trail I'll take all the snow we can get.

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

I wish we'd either get some fresh snowfall here in Central Minnesota or else warm up and melt what's out there. It's just gotten hard packed on the ground and spotted with frozen poopsicles in the back that are lodged in the ice/snow. I love fresh fluffy snowfall but after it has been on the ground for months and it gets all packed and dirty it's just blech. It's been so COLD lately as well. The other night it got to -15 degrees F here.

The yard is always such a mess to clean up in the spring.

I know what you mean - the layers of snow melt and you're left with a whole winter's worth of poop to clean up. Sounds like it's just too cold to snow there! We have family in Minnesota - Coon Rapids, International Falls, and Warroad.

    WoW! What beautiful pictures!

I can see why he had such a great time I think I'd never hear from mine again, they'd have too much fun checking out everything.
