I know I shouldn't start showing off pictures until we actually put the house back together, but I'm so excited about finally having carpet. I can't help it. I'll post pics again once we are truly finished...

First off, my trooper in the living room. He wanted me to take a picture of him with his cooling patch on. (He has a fever.)

Hehe, I had to snap a pic of this. This is Jaden's first sentence that he ever wrote. He taped it to his door.



I never told you the story of my bedroom set! We ordered this $3000 bedroom set with one year no interest. Well, the company went out of business. One thing led to another. And to make a long story short, I got this bedroom set for free! They insisted I didn't have an account with them and that I never recieved it. lol. Now that the room is done, I need to get a new comforter set.

Thank you. Jaden turned 6 in July. He's in kindergarten, so he's just now learning how to sound out words. I'm keeping that sign forever!

God I rembember how exciting it was to finally get capreting! I wanted to take the day off to witness the miracle that is removing puke green shag and replacing it with a saxony plush!

I wish I was as lucky as you to get a free bedroom set - mine was free (new marriage gimmie) and the bed fell apart one night when Pouncer jumped up.... seriously! We were laying in bed, half asleep and a 5 pound kitten jumped up and the bed went Foosh, slam onto the floor! Now we sleep on a box spring on the floor with TWO mattresses on top... I feel like the princess and the pea with all those mattresses. Someday I'll find the right set at the right price (free would be nice)

Wow everything looks great, Tonya. I remember how exciting it was to finally get new carpet. When we moved in the carpet was pukey green/tannish orange (depending on where the sun had faded it). It took us 2 years, but the day we finally got new carpet was *sooo* exciting!
