    Monte will be 10 years old

    Well, 14 out of my 15 cats do not have a known birthdates, so we approximate, and this January, Monte will turn 10. He is the oldest of my cats, but I have only had him since Feb of 2000. It is hard to imagine a time without Monte. What a sweet boy.

    This morning, as it typical for him, I woke to find him under the covers with is head out just like a human, laying right between Charlie and me. And I had my arm around him.

    He loves mama's lap and to be carried over one shoulder. So sometimes I walk around with Monte in my left arm (sitting on my shoulder) while I go about other things.

    His best buds are Kim and Bonnie and Sterling.


    His best rival is Biddy. They scuffle for who's boss (by the way, that would be Monte) and then they kiss and make up.

    GREAT pictures Jen!! Monte sounds very special and just a little bit spoiled!! With a face like that how could you not!! He has this face that just makes you want to hug him!
    I haven't had a chance to read all the stories so I'm going to go look for Monte's story now.

    What a nice young man! He certainly has a great group of friends to hang out with... all stripped to really show off his beautiful white coat!

    Have a happy Birthday Monte! You deserve some cake!

    I can't believe how much my man Pounce looks like his mama! The only difference is his tail is a bit thinner.

    Monte is such a sweetie! Look at him with all his buddies! Happy birthday fella!! Hope you have many more wonderful years!!! My favorite pic is the first one grooming Kim - looks like he is whispering sweet nothings to her

    Monte seems like such a sweetheart, the glue that holds the cat family together (he IS the right color!). I can see why he's your "cat soulmate". Happy Birthday!

    Max says that he is 10 yrs old and it's nothing but a number Monte you are soo sweet and I hope you have a very happy purrrffday!!

    Just love those cuddly pictures!! I sure wish my got along like that.
