Well, I figured I haven't posted that many rattie pictures lately, so I took out the camera and took some new pictures of my children about 20 minutes ago.

Nothing too much is new in Rattie Land, except health issues. Chloe has a mammary tumor which is about the size of a golf ball in her arm pit. I am having troubles with Violette and her constant facial abscesses that keep going away and returning. Oscar also has lost a little bit of weight and is having some heart/lung issues. Daisy, Fred, Suzie, and Phoebe have not had any health issues since I have had them. *Runs around house banging on everything wood!*

The cage you see in the pictures I absolutely hate with a passion. Since I got money for Christmas, I am going to be ordering a Martin’s RUUD very soon. I am getting excited over that, I can’t wait to get it- my ratties will love it!!

I HATE my Martins cage with a PASSION! It is NOT worth the money at all! They are flimsy as heck, so cheap. You can bend the whole thing with your hand, that's how thin the wire is. Plus the coating comes off so easily and the clamps get rusted very quick. Plus it's a pain in the ass to lift around to clean. JMHTGO.

I would invest in a very high quality Quality cage. They are a little more expensive but last years and years, and are such great quality. They are the best cages on the market, or so I think.

Hmmmmm.....well....I guess I will put Martin's on hold for a while! I will keep looking around.

If you didn't like the Superpet cage, you are not going to like a Martins cage. It can be a pain scrubbing poop off from in between the bars of those things. Another thing, is that they can spray their urine right out of those. Quality cages at least has urine guards that come with the cages. I just don't like them, but hey, a lot of people do.

Don't worry, I do not have them on pine!

They are on finely shredded aspen from my local feed store..the only place where they don't cost an arm and a leg! Aspen prices around her are ridiculous! I was sooo happy when I found them at Waldschmidts!!

Funny I used to think rats were awful, until I met Cass's Rats, now I am in love. Never took the time to look at those cute little faces at all! Now I look at them and think how sweet they are.

My husband would definitely think I had lost my mind. LOL, but darn it I just can't help it, they are just too cute!
