Dog Park Pics!

We had such a blast today! My first trip to a dog park was a sucess! It was just what I needed. There were up to 10 dogs there at once and no fights. My dogs were so good and so happy! Here are a few pics...

This was Georgia. Her and her mother just moved out here from Missouri. I loved how she layed.

That's a retriver (can't remember her name) and her sister, Miracle the greyhound. Miracle was an ex-racer. You should have seen her run! It was unbelievable. She was a beautiful brindle. She had tattoos in her ears from her racing days.

BTW..This dog park is done by a church. They spent thousands of dollars on landscaping, fencings, etc... My tithes are going to that church!

That Greyhound is GORGEOUS. they're ushc pretty dogs, and so sweet too. I'd love to have one.. some day!

I think I would like to rescue one someday too. I always had this image that rescued greyhounds were so hard to deal with because of the trama they'd been through. You couldn't even tell this girl had been abused! She was so awesome. I fell in love with greyhounds today when I was watching her run. They run so gracefully and quick. My dogs couldn't keep up with her for the life of them. They finally plopped down and barked at her.

Greyhounds are wonderful wonderful wonderful dogs. My heart still belongs to my beloved Shaianne (RB).

I guess you will be going there often. Do they charge a fee or annual membership, etc...? That was mighty nice of the church to build you guys a dog a park.

That's so cool Tonya, but I'm jealous I REALLY wish there were a dog park around here. There are a lot of parks in the area but no dog parks.

Of course I particularly loved seeing the golden and greyhound too! Shais_mom when I was looking at your pictures of beautiful Shai, I was really startled at the similarity between her and Tasha. Tasha obviously isn't full greyhound, but I can really see it in her, especially after looking at Shai who had that same fawn coloring. What a beautiful precious girl.
