    Foxy is getting nutured tomorrow

After a long wait Foxy is finaly geting nutured tomorrow. I was just wondering how long will it take for him to get back into agility and will his personality change at all?

I'd probably wait a good week or two (at least) before getting back into agility. Kai had a bit of an infection and lots of swelling when he was neutered so we would have had to wait longer if he was in agility.

Kai's personality didn't change when he was neutered. He was never really dominant and never marked inside so I never really noticed any change in behavior.

I'd probably stop walking him for a couple days to let him rest and let the swelling go down. After a few days, it should be okay to take small walks. He'll be too tired to walk when he gets home. Kai was really drowsy and walked into a pole on the way back to the car lol.

They bounce back quicker than you think, especially the boys. It is a very simple surgery for the boys, much less invasive. I would wait and see how he feels, but his walks should be just fine. More often than not, I am having to try to keep the boys at the shelter calmer than they want to be after surgery.

    Don't worry, he'll be fine!

Good job on getting him neuteured! I am sure he will be fine. It took maybe a day for Mickey to get back to his normal self but he wasn't the same until the stitches came out. Meaning, he wasn't able to jump all over the place.

    Good luck Foxy!

I got Foxy from the vet a few hours ago. The vet said not to do any agility until the stitches come off which will happen in about a weeks time.

The first thing he did when we got him home was he got on my bed and went to sleep for a few hours and didn't wasnt to do much, but now he is slowly getting back to his normal self.
