Meet Kambell

Well now I know we raised our kids right! My stepdaughter and her husband went to the shelter and adopted Kambell! What do you think of him?

He's so funny - that's his blanket, and he absolutely does not want it moved. He drags all of his toys onto it to play. He keeps them there all the time.

We have no clue what mix he is. Can you guess?

The shelter in Marquette is awesome. You can't leave with a dog until it has been altered and had all of its vaccinations, and while they're at the shelter they're taught some obedience.

When she got him Kambell knew to sit when he wanted something, he knew "shake", and they had started houstraining him. He always goes #1 outside, but she's still working on #2.

Now I'm going to try to get her on to Pet Talk. She's not much of a computer person, but I know she'd love it here.

I'm guessing he's about 3 months old.

I have been thinking I see weimeraner too. From certain angles.

I think he's a true blue Heinz 57. Sometimes I see shepherd, and I'm pretty sure there's some lab in there. And I think maybe weimeraner. Collie?

I wish the pictures showed his color better. It's such an unusual color - not golden, not tan. Almost a slight blue tint to the brown.

I'm so proud of her for adopting him. I always pictured her going to a breeder and buying some cute little toy. This guy's going to be big, I think!

There's just no end to the way your kids can surprise you.

Kambell is adorable!! He looks so happy in his new home! And that toy in the picture just made me laugh so hard!! It's hilarious!!

I especially like the picture of him with his new mommy! I am glad that your daughter adopted a doggy from the shelter.

Oh what an incredibly cute pup! I really like his looks. I think his face reminds me a bit of some weim too. He is a unique and precious looking boy, and I like his name, Kambell.

He is so cute! I won't try and guess what he is but to say he's going to be a wonderful dog. And what a lucky one to have such a good home.

What a CUTIE!!
I don't see any Collie in him, but maybe some Pit Bull? It looks like it in the first picture. I also agree with Lab/German Shepherd.

Pit bull would be neat! He is definitely a cutie. My dogs aren't nice to him at all though. I actually had to put Max in his crate when Betsy brought Kambell over, and I've never had to do that before. He was really growling at Kambell and he's normally such a sweet, gentle dog. I wonder why that was?
