    Kong question

I have a baby kong for Gigi and it's not all that big... I put dry treats at the bottom, then some of her dry dog food and then i put those peanut butter moose thingy I bought from PetsMart and she can finish the whole thing in like 5 minutes!!! What should I do? Should I get a bigger one? Or should I use real PB to "glue" everything tighter together??????????????

    Thanks Kay for the set.

You can use real PB and also get a milk bone to wedge into the top tightly. It will take her a little while to get the milkbone loose.

I would do what Aly suggested.

I would use more peanut butter to glue it together, and aly's suggestion is great. I always jam everything in there so they really have to work at them--mine get them when we have to go somewhere for 3 or 4 hours--Jada will play with hers forever!!!
Another thing I do is try to stick some cream cheese or peanut butter way up at the top, and on the sides, so that they really have to work for it--as long as they can still smell it, they want to work at it!!!

You can also fill them and freeze them--Oreo loves a "Kong-cicle" treat on warm days. Try plugging the hole with a baby carrot, add a few treats, fill with low-sodium broth, and freeze overnight.

i use almost anything in them i try to make them taste good together here are some of my examples:

left over mashed potatoes with meat or kibble or treats

    yougurt with fruit pieces

cream cheese with meat or veggies

peanut butter with kibble or treats or fruits

thick gravy with meat or kibble or treats

soft cheese spread with meat or kibble or treats

canned dog food with treats or kibble or left over meat scraps

scrambled eggs with hash & cheese chunks

i use left over cassaroles & mac & cheese stuff like that also
these are examples I let my immagination run wild & work up many different concoctions for my furry pals!

sometimes i freeze them especially if it is liquidy or it is hot outside.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
