    Lily's neutering and some pictures

    I was away while Lily was neutered yesterday - but thankfully when I got back this afternoon she was fine! We did do the pre bloodwork and they did the operation as scheduled. Apparently when Lily got back, Toby hissed at her! Guess it has something to do with her scent from the vet ...

    She is ok now, walking around with her little cone on. Thanks to those who gave advice, here are some pictures - I will post cone picture when I get them!

    Phantastic photos of two beautiful cats, as usual! So clear and bright!

    Good to hear Lily is doing fine after her little surgery. Don't worry too much about Toby hissing at her, Luna was the same some weeks ago when Lily had her surgery. It definitely has something to do with the scent, it seemed to me Luna didn't even recognize Lily. Took a couple of days till she had accepted her again.

    Great pics. I just love Toby's chubby cheeks so much.

    Glad to hear that Lily is doing well after her surgery. It's normal that Toby hissed at her, as her normal scent isn't on her right now. All mine went through the same thing when they came back from the vets. It's like the others are saying,"Hey, you don't smell like my sis, who the H*** are you and what have you done to my sister." After a few hours and with her grooming herself, things will return back to normal.

    I'm glad to hear that Lily's spay went smoothly. I'm sure she'll be fine. All of these pics are gorgeous as usual but this pic of Lily is one of my favorites.

    Pouncer was neutered yesterday too... I spent the day worrying about how he was doing and spent the night playing nurse! Allen wasn't too sure who Pouncer was when we returned (no hissing though.) I'm glad everything went well! We mommies worry so much when our babies are away, more so when surgery is being performed!

    I'm glad to hear everything went well with Lily. I have to say she has one of the prettiest faces...and of course Toby is as handsome as ever. I look forward to seeing more pictures of both Toby and Lily.

    I am so happy to hear that Lily's operation went well.

    Loved the pics of the kitties, they are so cute.

    Don't worry about Toby hissing, he just doesn't recognize her smell. It will pass. Bob did the same thing to Joey when she came home from the vet after her couple of days there and now they get along fine.
