    Congratulations, Ms. Elvira, on being COTD! You are a beautiful, regal-looking lady, and, by virtue of your years alone, have earned my respect and admiration. Hisses to your first people (anyone who would abandon a pet deserves to be scratched), but purrs to the family you chose. It sounds like you made a much better choice than the one that was made for you initially.

I cannot believe someone would allow you out on such a high balcony and then leave you behind - so glad your purrsons kept you and appreciate your talents! I don't think my elderly lady Lily would even contemplate (much less, execute) a leap onto the refrigerator! Good for you!
