I was up late last night watching some TV and Tasha settled in with me on the sofa. She was being irresistably adorable, I couldn't resist taking a few shots to share.

Thanks! She is a total sweetheart

During the day she tends to lay all sprawled out but at night she likes to curl up in as tight a ball as possible and put her tail over her nose. She might look a little chubby in the pics but it is just because she's all bunched up in ball.

Is Star a greyhound? Looks like it in your sig picture there, curled up with the kitty . I've heard what couch potatoes they can be. I know Tasha sure is! Besides running outside when the weather is nice, curling up somewhere soft and warm is her favorite "activity." She has a bit of a bushier shepherd's tail though, perfect to keep that little nose warm

Well, first of all, I would never allow anyone to be my girl's godmother when she doesn't even know if she's a boy or girl! Forgive me Tasha!!! I KNOW you're a girl! That's the second time I've dont that today! Ugh! I'll got "fix" that right away!

Cody is the one curled up with Mr. B The picture is a bit dark, so it's hard to tell, but she's a Husky/Shep! I should come back and post a better pic!) Actually, the shelter said she was a purebred red Husky when I adopted her but she's got the body build and ears of a Shep for sure! And don't I WISH she were a couch potatoe! Now with the cold weather, I have to drag her inside at night. She loves the snow and will dig herself an igloo and curl up in there for hours! Star is my yellow Labbie girl Funny you mentioned Greyhounds! My husband, who loves dogs as much as I do, saw a program on Animal Planet recently about a woman who gave up her job as a commercial airline pilot to run Greyhound rescue transports all over the country in her biplane! He's now fixed on rescuing a greyhound, because they're so sweet and in such need and as you said, the consummate couch potatoe! (Every snoozing potatoe needs a partener!) Oh, he also wants a JRT!!!! Go figure!

Oh! Well can't get onto you about mistakenly calling Tasha "he" when I totally had your two mixed up! And I was pretty darn far off on the breed too . I think somehow just the set of the ears on Cody in that one pic reminded me of a greyhound's... or else I'm just seeing greyhounds where there are none since Tasha has greyhound in her.
