    Christmas Lights

I showed you the Halloween street in my neighborhood. Here's the next neighborhood over. They go ALL OUT with Christmas lights....which are very hard to photograph! This area is so well-known it has been featured in books, tour buses go through, and sometimes there are people directing traffic.

The yard is full of big trees -- each has one of these lighted ribbons around the trunk.

This treehouse is there all year round. At Christmas it is covered in lights, the windows open so you can see Santa's workshop. There is also music playing. See the raccoon on top?

He is as tall as a two story house!

The most famous! It looks like the tree is so big it grows out the top of the house!

WOW! Those homes are decorated SO beautifully! This is the main thing I like about the holiday season. Going out and seeing the city all lighted up. Looks so pretty!

    Sara, your pictures are fantastic.

I love the one with the tree growing right out of the house. Very clever. How cute the tree house is as well.

WOW! That puts such a nice, Christmassy feeling in me Those lights are great! I think I'd pitch a tent on that street and live there for the whole month of December just so I could see those every night

That must've been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great photos! I love all the lights!
My kids really like the treehouse.

I can't imagine what those people will pay for their electric bill this month.

I also loved the one that looks like the tree is coming out of the roof. I bet they have huge electric bills. Those are all so beautiful. I love to get out near Christmas and just drive around and look at everybody decorations. We live so far in the boonies, noboby would see our decorations.

    My favorite was this one:

Wow, this is amazing. Around here people just start with doing more than a light chain round a tree -but there are already quite some colourful houses.
