Thread: Orangie for Sirrahbed!!

    Orangie for Sirrahbed!!

YES! It was love at first sight! We drove up to the shelter which had closed at 2pm and it was 5pm because I had my days mixed up but the cat lady happened to be there and wondered why we had not come by!! She brought Dylan out - oh what a beauty!! That boy knew how to suck up to a meowmy! He let me hug him. He let me kiss him. He licked my face. He let me throw him over my shoulder and even hold him like a baby! Purring the whole time. He had dreamy green eyes and fluffy orange fur. Omegosh!!! I was smitten right away! Ok shut up now and post pictures...

Dylan Thomas (have to keep with the poet theme and dropped one "L" like CatsinDenver suggested)

He has taken over Missy's room and bed...

Hard to see but his eyes are very green..

Wish his tail showed - it is thick and lush like a fox!

Already he is such a sweetie. The catlady said he is definitely a loverboy and a lapcat. I believe I may have my velcrokitty. Emily and Eliot are furious with me - the smell I suppose. I need to get a good shower and beg my way into their good graces. It is all I can do to ignore Dylan now We did let the kittens into Dylan's room and there was some very brief hissing and then some good natured sniffing and nose touching - so I think things will move right along - all three cats are very good natured. Emily is really the only one who is territorial about her toys or anything. But she basically ignores me anyway (daddy's girl)

What a handsome fella! And boy, does he look relaxed! He obviously knows he's found himself a home.

Best of luck on the introduction process. From the initial reaction, it doesn't sound like you'll have major problems.

What a big handsome fluffball of love Dylan is. I'm sure he will get along fine with Eliot and Emily after they get used to him. Thank you for giving him a forever home. Enjoy the new occupant of your lap.

Oh how exciting! I'm so happy you finally found your orangie! He looks and sounds like a real love - which was just what you were looking for.

He looks like he has Maine Coone in him so he's got all sorts of lover boy things going for him - male orangie, Maine Coone, new wonderful home.....

Congratulations and a big welcome to Dylan!

Welcome to PT Dylan. Please please speak to your new Meowmie and tell her that we need more pictures of you

I love him, he is so beautiful. I love the name too. Are you a fan of the poet?

So you had one of those rooms too? Me too, the closet was a hazard to open, had to wear a helmet to open the door. lol.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Not a fan of Dylan Thomas really but was once a literature teacher and like poetry(especially TS Eliot)...so thought I would use poet names for my cats. The *room* belonged to my now married daughter Sirrahsim (Missy) Omegosh - hard to describe how it once looked! NOWHERE to step! Literally!

    Congratulations!!!!!!!!

I too saw the post that you were going to meet him and then I came to this thread.

I am so happy for you and he sounds like such a great kitty. I hope that he turns out to be your velcro guy. He is definately a very pretty boy, and he already looks happy and real relaxed in his new home.

After hearing about the first introdictions on the first day, I think that they will get long fine. You will probably get some more hissing, but beyond that it sounds like you made a great choice.

    Welcome to PT Dylan!!!

Please give him some scratches for me and if he likes it some belly rubs.

and their happy and willing slave, Bryan.

Many Thanks to Kay for the Picture.

How funny, sounds just like my oldest daughter's room too. She too is married and living away from home now. Did you ever look under the bed? Well that was another place she "put" her dirty clothes. Just thought I would ask in case you have thought about looking under the bed yet. , I could not figure out for the life of me where all those school clothes went, until I looked under the bed, mystery solved.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!
