Oh my Jen! I'm so glad you didn't turn him away though.
I say as long as they are adorable kittens, keep 'em coming - and don't get me wrong because when the time comes I'll probably be adopting an adult cat, but for you, who really can't "afford" (in space, time and behavioral issues, not meaning money here) to end up keeping anymore, and the chances are more likely that the kittens will be adopted out, I say as long as they're kittens, keep 'em coming!
The only other option is to see if someone else at the shelter can help with fostering the kits, but I hate to think where they might end up if you don't take them - and I'm sure that's partly what's driving your acceptance of them too.
You've got such a big heart, and you're just the best for helping all these poor souls.
Just please, please, please remember, like others here have learned the hard way (Donna, Kim, etc.) you can't save them all and you need to know when you've reached your limit, and then you really do need to either say no or find help.
Good luck with this new feisty guy! Love the name Dick Tracy.
