what do your dogs think of car rides?

I was thinking about this so I thought I would ask

Perky, Ripley, and Misty all go nuts for car rides they LOVE them, Misty sits square on my lap the entire time, Ripley and perky jump from lap to lap.

Blair HATES going out period. his absolute favorite time of day is getting locked in his kennel, tell him its walk time and he runs for cover begging us to lock the kennel door, he is willing to come for a car ride ONLY if he is kenneled. he's a strange one that dog lol

Happy does not hate car rides, athough she to would rather be kenneled if she must go for a ride. she would rather walk everywhere though lol every sunday when I go to work Happy comes along for the ride, I let her out the gate and she startes heading to my work on foot, when I call her to the van she looks at me like "stupid lazy humans, have you never heard of FEET?"

My dog absolutely loves being in a car. Especially if you crack the window so he can get that rush of smells and sounds.

Tia and Winston LOVE car rides. Morgan is gets car sick, though, she's better in a crate but she's too big now to have a crate that she fits in, inside the car with the other dogs but it's probably just a puppy thing as Tango was car sick as a pup too. Tango likes car rides if we're going somewhere fun (dog park, river etc.) but doesn't enjoy them if she knows it's time to go and get her nails done at our friend's house (she's terribly afraid of all the Dobies there), so it depends on the circumstances with her. Most of the time she's much rather walk than get in a car though.

They all love car rides and happily jump into their crates because they know most of the time they're going somewhere fun

what do your dogs think of car rides?

We dont do too good with car rides.. They like it better if they can just run the back yard with all fours on the ground..

There are two words we cannot say in our house unless we really mean them - RIDE and WALK. If you say either, he jumps and runs around and knocks stuff over with his tail and runs into the wall. He's a hoot

  12. I picked two options.

"what? ya never heard of FEET?"
    and
"ooooooo YAY! a car ride! WOOHOO!"

    LOL

Rattling car keys and picking up a leash are both dangerous activities in our house. Don't even try saying the "r" word. Either one results in a spastic, quivering black and white unguided missile who bears a faint resemblance to our dog!

Mine don't care what they're in, as long as their with me.

Molly will start whining if we go for a long car ride because she just wants to get there and do something fun!

Mickey sometimes gets naseaus, but rarely pukes.

Frisk absolutely loves car rides! If you open a car door he'll run and jump in with his little stub wagging.
Ethan is terrified. He whines the whole time and if he isn't in a crate, he'll poo all over the place.
Skylar just really doesn't care. He just lays in someone's lap or in the backseat. He doesn't even seem to know he's in a car.
