Luna has peed on the rug again last night

After many weeks without any litter box accidents, I was probably raising my hopes too high: Last night, Luna has peed on one of the rugs in the hall, next to one of the litter boxes.

Hopefully it's not UTI again, guess it's time for another urine check up.

But I've noticed that minutes before her "accident", she had used the box in the hall for a poop, and Luna doesn't like to use a box when it is already soiled. Of course there are more than one litter box, but maybe she was too lazy to go there?

Anyway, when it happens again, I better have her checked.

I think that you are right on track with what to do. I agree, It would be nice if they could talk.

Kirsten,

I think you need to get your kitty to the vet now. It sounds like a UTI to me. I was told by my vet that some cats are more susceptible to UTI's than others. She also told me that foods like Purina One, and other inexpensive pet foods can cause excessive crystals in the urine.

I hope Luna gets better!
