Kitty number 4 (FINALLY) from the new poster!

Ok, here is Roger aka Roger Bob, Mr. Handsome fella. He is Cat #3's (Missy) son. He is 5 and very very very very VERY wild! He is the one feral kitten who couldn't be tamed but that is for good reason--long story for another day. Anyway, this is also the one that Cat number 2 (Anita) tries to kill. He had to have a few emergency unplug catheters and has oxolite crystal problems. He had to have that PU surgery Peritineal Urethrostomy (?????) something like that, where they remove his little penis and reroute his bladder and tubes to keep him from getting blocked again. $2,000 worth! The one and only time I ever held this baby boy was when he was in the hospital, all tubed and groggy. He lets us pet him but never hold, except for that one time 2 years ago in the hospital. Sure, he sleeps at my feet and wakes me up at 4 am for petting (only on his head and only a little) but never snuggle or cuddle or hold. Yup, he is my wild boy, but I love him.

    Handsome fellow.

I am fostering 2 now who need someone just like you to love them. They will never be lap cats. They do not enjoy too much petting but they deserve a home none the less. I hope they can find someone as understanding and as patient as you are.

What a beautiful boy!!! I hope his health problems are all behind him. Sounds like he has had a tough time of it in several respects. I'm thankful he's found such a nice home with you. Who knows -- maybe in time he'll allow a few more scritches and a bit more petting. It took 2 years (and much work) before my cat, Briggs would sit in the chair with me. Now she only does so whenever she wants to give me a kneading. She stays long enough for that and then she's off -- no cuddling or lap naps for her! I wish the best for Mr. Roger and the rest of your gang. Glad we got to see him.

He sure is a cute little boy.

He sounds like he deserves a person like you to watch over him. Well, if he is not a lap cat, at least it sounds like he knows he is in a place that he is loved. That is the important part.

Thanks you for caring for him. When you can give him a head scratch for me.

Roger sure is gorgeous. I also have a semi-feral cat named Cirrus. He's only 1 and loves to be petted and brushed but won't allow me to pick him up. Hopefully as he grows older he'll calm down and begin to trust me more. I've only had him for 8 months now and he's really come out of his shell. Good luck with Roger and some day he may surprise you and just jump up in your lap.

My old Harvey that I had many years ago had this same surgery. He also was semi-wild and would not let anyone hold him, but was loving in his way. Strangely, he is also the cat that let new kitten Eddie "suckle" on him for many years! So he had a sweetness about him, but just did not like to be approached, held or petted very much.
I am enjoying meeting your cats one at a time! You are a terrific cat mom to have the patience you do! Each and every cat is so special and I am glad certain people have the ability to see the uniqueness of every cat like you do ....now will wait for #5
