see what I failed to realize is that scribbles is NOT from my line of gerbils most of his natural instict has been bred out of him where is in my lines(I am a former gerbil breeder) I made sure the instict was there, that is why the thumping method did not effect scribbles whatsoever, however once I pinpointed his exact location under the floorboards I shined a flashlight under the safe to try to get a glimps I did and because he unlike my former gerbils is so people orantated that he came up to check it out and a nabed him! he is now safe and sound in his cage, with the screen taped down and the water bottle removed(he climbed up the bottle to get out) and replaced it with a bowl, in which he immedietly took a bath!

This is good news!
I can try to get some new ones again and hope that does not happen!
