My sweet little foster dogs, Delta and Antare, turn two today. They've been with us since they were nine months old, in the shelter since they were four months. We've never had a single inquiry about them. They are very sweet, beautiful husky crosses but extremely timid. Antare has made great progress. Antare is now a harness banging sled dog and will come to me for attention. Delta is not coming along as well, but we'll get there eventually. He is still very scared and has to be cornered before
he'll let a human near him--unless said human is carrying a fish! That boy does love his arctic char! Fortunately, neither of them shows any fear aggression--just plain old fear--and they are both well versed in dog-speak. From their first day with us, the fit into the pack like they had been born there.

This afternoon we officially failed at fostering them. Delta and Antare have found their forever home. Happy birthday little guys and welcome home!

Delta and Antare are mighty glad you did, I'm sure! Such sweet, sweet pups...I know with your very special brand of patience and understanding, these very deserving doggies will thrive!
