    Johnathan Brandis

I waited a few days to post this, because the source I read it in wasn't very reliable, but now it's in many different venues.

    sad.
    from the Chicago Sun Times:
JONATHAN BRANDIS DIES: Jonathan Brandis, star of the 1993-95 NBC series "seaQuest DSV," was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment Nov. 12. He was 27. Coroners identified his death as a possible suicide, but more tests are planned before a final ruling. Mr. Brandis starred in the recent film "The Year That Trembled."

My sisters and I grew up watching him on Seaquest and we all had major crushes.

I also liked him in Neverending Story 2.

    So very very sad....

This is very sad. I too liked him on Seaquest and Neverending Story. I am saddened that his life was that painful that he felt the only solution was suicide

I never heard of him or his show, but it’s always sad when someone sees suicide as the only solution.

My friends all watched that DSV show he was in, but my personal favorite was his role in Stephen King's It. He played the young version of Richard Thomas' character. I thought he did an amazing job with it.

    Here's his resume:

    OMG! How sad!

When I was younger I used to hang out with him. He knew a friend of mine named Gary Green, and he was sort of his manager. Gary knew all the child actors as his job revolved around celebrities and getting them into events. Like the people would go to Magic Mountain for a signing or whatever. I should call Gary as I haven't talked to him in two years and see if he knows anything.

Anyways, he was sort of a friend of mine when I was younger.
