    Jada's turn

My husband just left with Jada to take her to the vet for her surgery (spaying). I get so nervous when my pups have to go--I will be worried all day.
Please keep her in your thoughts.

She'll be fine, I'm sure! But I don't blame you one bit for worrying until you see her home where she belongs!!!

Good luck today, Jada. We'll certainly keep you in our prayers for a safe surgery!

Our vet called a little bit ago. Jada is done, and resting comfortable at her place. She had a bit of a rash on her tummy, so the doc is giving us an antibiotic for her (she hasn't had a day without pills yet, poor thing), and otherwise she is doing great. They will keep her overnight though, she said they always do with females as it is a more complicated procedure. We'll miss her, but it's probably better, since my husband is at work now, and I have to go in soon, and I would much rather someone be home with her on her first day back.

Thanks for the prayers and positive thoughts!!!

Yay, Jada!! What a relief to know it's all over! I'm sure she's busy making zzz's right now! My vet keeps the females overnight too! Can't wait to hear about the happy homecoming tomorrow

Yay! Glad to hear Jada's surgery went well. Yep, they kept mine in overnight, just to make sure everything went well.
When we brought Daisy in for spaying, the vet shaved off a *little* to much hair, which caused a rash. It cleared up in a few days though.

Whew! So glad to hear that everything went fine!!

I totally understand how nerve wracking it can be when it's your own baby in there. Even thought it's so routine, it still is very scary.

    Come home soon, Jada!!!

    Jada is home!!!!!!!

She is resting in here with me now (as are the other 3). The doc said she had a rough night, throwing up a few times, and just being a little sad, but she is doing better today. Poor girl probably thought we left her there
Anyway, she's on an antibiotic for her rash, and pain medicine, and a bland diet for the next few meals until her tummy settles.

She looks great, and she was soooooo happy to see me when I picked her up today!!!!
