As Sandra said, it really is a classic.

One of my friends named her cat Pywacket after that movie.

Just keep in mind that it is pretty old. In fact, I am not sure what year it came out. Maybe I better google for this info.

    I googled - Wow!!! 1959

1959 was a few years ago - it takes me a while to catch up on the latest release movies! Reckon I'll see Harry Potter in about 2027

I saw a still photo from the movie in a book, and Kim Novak was in a bedroom, surrounded by about 10 lounging meezers - heaven, I say! I must find a video store that stocks it.

Nicole, do you have a VCR or a DVD? And also, is the format the same in Australia as it is here?

Did you know that Kim Novak's mother is Tippi Hedrin (sp?) who maintains the wild life station in Northern California?

    Gini,

I thought Tippi Hedren was Melanie Griffith's mother ........

Oh oh, now we're getting technical! We have a VCR, but the format is different between Australia and the USA. We don't have a DVD player yet, but my dad has one - I don't know about the format thing but I've just been told that the NTSC format is the same everywhere.

Isn't Tippi Hedren also Melanie Griffiths' mother? Wow, six degrees of separation! [Edit: you beat me, Captain ]

Duh!!! Of course, Melanie Griffith is Tippi Hedrin's daughter.

Look, what do I know, I only live NEAR Hollywood, not IN it.

O.K. - now who IS Kim Novak's mother? Probably Sylvia Novak. (or maybe it is Suzie)

    Thanks for catching that one!

I did an askjeeves on Kim Novak. I couldn't find out about her mother (and I thought Jeeves knew everything ...), but apparently she raises llamas and has Morgan horses. Unfortunately her house burned down a couple of years ago, but she managed to save her animals.

Michelle, whoever brings out a Technodumbo brand of anything will make a packet from me - at least I can use a digital camera, the rest can wait
