    Update on Carina, 10/21

The vet called last night after surgery to tell me that everything went well.
When I called this morning they told me that she ate a little bit but they would like to keep her with the IV for as long as possible. So, it will be 5 PM by the time I can get her back home.
If they think it's better for her to stay a while longer, no matter how anxious I am to pick her up I'll have to wait.
I'll let you know how she's doing probably tomorrow.

I've been watching for an update from you, Alicia! I'm so glad the surgery went well. And I'm glad your vet is being extra cautious with your Carina!!!!

She will be much happier when she is home, under your loving supervision, I'm sure!!!!

Praise God for this good news!!!

I'm sure it is best to leave her with the vet, as hard as it may be

I know she'll be so happy when she gets to come home!!!

Thanks so much for sharing the good news, Alicia!! Like Logan, I've been on a vigil, checking for updates! Thank goodness it's over and it all went well!! I too think it's best that she stay a while longer to rest and catch up on her fluids! But won't she be happy to see her loving Mommy again!! Looking forward to hearing all about the homecoming! Love and hugs to you, Alicia! Sandra

I'm so glad the surgery went well and is all over. It's good they make sure she is doing the best she can before they let her go home. It's alway best to be a little caucious after major surgery. Please give her a hug from me when you can.

Alicia, I'm going to be out the rest of the evening. But I hope you and Carina have a calm, easy night tonight. I will be thinking of you, and anxiously awaiting an update tomorrow.

    Alicia,

Just wanted you to know that I'm praying that Carina is
resting comfortably & growing better and stronger by the
hour. I understand that no surgery is a "walk in the park"
and Carina will stay in my prayers for a quick recovery. Hugs
& good wishes to you both. Liz.
