    Health

I have a five year old female doberman.
Lately she's been biting her paws so badly that she can hardly walk. We had her blood tested, nothing. She has no ticks, no fleas.
What can be wrong with her?

She might have allergies. Call your vet and get the correct dosage for Benadryl. That might help.

I agree with aly. Our male sheltie has a similar problem...he's prone to skin allergies. When the 'foot biting' got very bad he had to be put on careful dosages of prednisone by the vet. I'd talk with the vet about this problem. We've found that allergies like this need long-term management by a vet.
