    Why does Raven groom Mike?

Raven and my husband have always been pretty close. She will spend LITERALLY hours grooming him. She'll clean his arms, chest, face, hair... She doesn't do this to anyone else. Why?

I'm just guessing here but I'd say that she's doing this because they have a strong bond between them. Maybe she see's him as another cat. My cat Sunny will sometimes lick my head. Whatever the reason, I think it's very sweet.

Our late Kisi (RB) the Siamese used to spend hours washing hubby Don's hair. Sat on his shoulders washing away with a look of complete bliss on her face!! Perhaps they figure it's another kid in need of a good wash!!

I never knew that cats do that. But when Blueberry was very little, he would sometimes bite on my hair. lol, does that count as grooming?

You know, Sara is right - it's love! However, Fister does it to me when I have been using a bodylotion, he surely thinks I need a good wash.

my cat stormy loves to smell hair. clean or dirty. she will sit where my hair brush is and try to get the hair out of it, if that doesnt work she rubbs against it. she loves to clean hair.
