    Specialist Here We Come

We have appt at 11:20 a.m. this morning with vet hospital specialist for tummy problems. Called our regular vet this a.m. and he going to recommend a specialist, I jumped ahead and called one myself. The gal on phone suspects that it's "irritable bowel". Keep good thoughts for Skinny

I'm sorry to hear that Skinny is still having problems. Hopefully the specialist will be able to diagnose his problem. I know that IBS can be a hard thing to diagnose and treat. Prayers and positive thoughts are on the way. Please keep us updated.

    UPDATE.....

First off vet is too good looking Mid to late 30's. Good manner and explained things so well.

Skinny is on a special diet along with rest of our gang. Since they all eat together out of same dishes, mixing old with new for a few days until it's all new. So far Butterscotch and Skinny like the new stuff. Boy it's strong smelling tho. Eukanuba Vet Food.

Just gave him his de-worming medicine. 1 1/2 tablets (1dose) he was to get it with food, which he just ate

Skinny has allot of gas/liquid on his tummy. This new diet should take care of things along with de-wormmer. He might put him on addtional medicines but we are going to wait and see. I'm to call him Friday with a report.

Surprised us and vet that other vet never de-wormed him. What's been done before seeing him was correct just Skinny's tummy isn't co-operating. They are very up on tummy problems.

We are seriously thinking about switching to this vet full time. Place is neat they have boarding, grooming, pet adoption and vet services at this vet hospital clinic. 2 vet's there. They are 26 miles away from house. Old vet is 11 miles away. We shall see.

    Keep paws crossed

    Is Skinny any better??
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
