    Floppsy pics (as requested)

When some of you were asking for Floppsy pics, I went out the next day to let her out, and she wouldn't come out. The cage is still open, but she doesn't want to come out. I guess she wants to rest today. So here's some pics of her in the cage, but they are closer, clearer, and better than the ones I posted last time.

    Munching on some veggies

    Eating some hay

That's all for now, but I'll have better ones sometime next week (if you want )
    Hope you liked them!

I can never get tired of seeing bun-bun pics. Thanks for posting FLS. Please give Floppsy some bunny kisses from me.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

She is such a pretty bunny, thanks for posting!

i just noticed one thing though.....are those pine shavings in her litter tray? Please say no.....you can double check my info at www.rabbit.org but pine and cedar shavings have been proven to cause a harmful cancer-causing vapor when combined with a rabbit's urine......something in those soft woods. Yes, it would take a couple of years to cause problems but why risk her health... Especially when there is a sorta/kinda FREE alternative! Use old newspapers instead. Just layer them in the tray...I like to make the layer very thick so the pee absorbs well. And although there is nothing for odor control in it (you could use baking soda sprinkled on top of the paper though), you can change those newspapers as often as you want and not worry about having to pay for a litter or shavings. So get your folks, neighbors, your friends parents to save up their newspaper for you and think of the money you will save!

Yes! She is trusting me more and more each day. In fact, I was out on the porch reading on Monday and Floppsy was out for playtime, and she was snuggled on my legs. She doesn't seem too bothered with getting picked up either, except when I hold her too high.

Daisylover- No, they're not pine shavings. I use Aspen for Floppsy and all the rodents. It's a new kind my dad bought, it's called Nature's Gold--100% Aspen bedding.
