I'm sure most of you have noticed that the doggy half of pet talk is the most active. I've always wondered if it was due to its location, being at the top of the list. (A marketing "ploy"?) Would it have received the same attention if it had been 'lowered'? Or are the doggie peeps just more talky? lol (No offense to anyone!)

I think that dogs are just more popular, or there are more dog people that come to Pet Talk. But, then again, I'm just a dog person.

Since I have both a cat and dog I feel it is okay to try to answer this. Dogs do more interesting things than cats. Dogs have owners, cats have staff. I love our cat but mostly all she does is lie around and ignore us. At least Ricky acts like he wants us around.

I have to admit I originally joined Pet Talk for COTD, but now spend most of my time on the dog topics! lol

(I am owned by 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 gerbil, numerous fish, and 1 bunny.)
